Entrepreneurial mind of people especially student will often have
Superb business ideas not just because of their desire to earn some bucks to enjoy
the life at fullest during their Graduation years but they also want to step
towards their Entrepreneurial dream. But they put ideas on hold due to a lack
of money or lack of confidence. I am not talking about confidence in general
because I saw some of them are very confident but when it comes to the idea of
starting a business, some might say it’s not the right time now. Believe me,
student life is the best time to start your entrepreneurial journey.
Coming up with a side business is a great way to
earn extra money & get learning which is going to be with you throughout
your life. I’ve started my entrepreneurial journey as a network marketer in
collage & then tried some other source of income like, Blogging & customized
T-shirt Printing etc & learned a lot from it. So I’ve listed some ideas
below to help to move with your first step as entrepreneur.
I have basically listed business which you can start
either with no or little capital
1. Sell Your Creativity
Do
you love drawing or designing t-shirts? Why not turn your creations into a
great income? Sites like cafepress & Zazzle take all the hard work out of
it; they do the printing and shipping…all you have to do is submit the design.
You
can sale Customized T-shirts, mugs, bags, shoes, stamps, hoodies, bottles ,
Pillow Cover and many more goods.
2.
Tutoring Service
Tutoring is not only
a great way to earn some money on the side, but it’s also a hugely satisfying
job. Students of all ages need tutors for math, science, reading, foreign
languages, and other subjects. If you’re skilled in a certain area, then why
not help others succeed in school?
To get started tutoring,
put up flyers at local schools or may be news paper. A normal flyer cost you as
less as Rs.0.10/flyer. You might put advertisement online by sign up with urbanclap.com.
The best thing about it is that, you can manage time for this along with your
studies.
3.
Child Life Coach
3.
Child Life Coach
You
might think it’s not relevant for India, But trust me children’s Life Coaching
is actually a real field. And yes, it is relatively new.
How
it works: some parents (more than you might think) are very busy with the
demands of work. And often, their kids miss out on important skills like
learning how to ride a bike, learn the importance of co curricular activity,
setting up their life’s goal or Play cricket. So these busy parents hire a
child life coach to fill in; the coach teaches their kids these important
skills .Remember India comes in top 10 countries with highest no. of millionaires.
The amount parents are willing to pay for a quality coach is incredible!
4. Blogging
Blogging
is also a great way to earn money as a writer or blogger. But all you need is a good knowledge of any specific field & Some patience .
5.
Yoga teacher
If you know yoga &
Pranayam, you can turn your passion and skill into a part-time business by
becoming an instructor. After the big initiative of yoga-guru “Baba Ram”, yoga
is in trend again for fitness. If you're willing to put in the time and effort
to become a certified yoga teacher, you can teach classes at different gyms and
health clubs.
6.
Hair Stylist/Makeup Artist
Beauty classes aren’t
a prerequisite for launching a successful hair or makeup business. For those
who can create masterpieces with a comb and some hairspray, you only need a good
relationship & clients trust, since beauty professionals often build their
business through client referrals. I recommend working on friends and family
for free or at a discounted rate at first. Once you have a solid customer base,
you can offer competitive rates for basic touch-up and makeup for weddings, parties
and other special events.
7.
Music Teacher
For the musically gifted,
offering lessons to others who want to learn how to play an instrument can be a
great source of extra income. Voice lessons can also bring in a lot of money if
you market yourself to local high school and community theater groups.
8. Bookkeeper/Accountant
Most
small businesses don't have a full-time accountant, so the task of record
keeping often falls to the business owner. A highly organized, trustworthy,
part-time bookkeeper can really alleviate the stress of sorting through
receipts and tax returns. You'll most likely only need to put in one or two
days a month for each client, depending on how many sales and expenses they
have. Knowledge of QuickBooks & Tally Software is a plus, but not
necessarily a requirement for, this side business.
9.
Earn Money using Facebook
Facebook can be a
reliable source of extra income with some work and a clever approach.
It has more than 1.5 billion
visitors a month or 18 billion a year, so this will work really well. All you need
to do is to create a page , Write good content on topic related to your
fb page. Once you have a facebook page with a good number of people following
it (app 50 k ), than you can do affiliate
marketing and earn a large amount of revenue by
sharing sponsored and socially shareable content on it.
You need to follow basic formula for started
earning:
Highly Targeted traffic on page + highly
related products = Money
Tips : Create a Website Related to your Fan page so
that you can get a good traffic through it.
10. Earn Money on YouTube:
You’ve
probably heard stories about regular people earning money on YouTube and thought,
“Hey, I can do this”. Earning thousands of Bucks probably isn’t realistic in
first few months but, you can start earning money quickly, especially if you
have a strong subscriber base.
So,
starting a side business can be a great way to earn some quality passive
income, and it may even turn into a full-time business if you focus on growing
it & if you choose a business that you’re interested in, it can be a great
fun & awesome opportunity to learn.
